What Terug is

Terug is a platform that helps organisations manage returns, warranties, stock, and service events. Each organisation on Terug is independently owned and operated. Terug provides the technology.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One person may not maintain more than one account.

Organisations

Organisation owners are responsible for the data entered into their organisation, including stock items, customer records, and service events. Terug is not a party to any agreements between organisations and their customers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your data

Terug only stores information needed to operate your account and provide the service. Organisation data belongs to the organisation owner. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

For organisation owners (paid plans)

The clauses in this section apply to organisation owners on a paid plan. They do not apply to your organisation's customers.

AI use. Terug is operated by 8by3, who use AI tools as described in the 8by3 AI policy. By using a paid plan you accept that policy.

Billing. Annual plans are billed monthly over 12 months so the cashflow burden on a small business is the same as a monthly plan — but you commit to the full 12-month term when you sign up. Monthly plans bill month-to-month and can be cancelled at any time.

Price lock. Your subscription price is locked at the rate you signed up for, for the duration of your term. If our list prices change, your existing term is not affected — the new rate only applies if you renew or change plan.

Limitation of liability

Terug is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in the preceding 12 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
